WHO ARE WE?

"Collaborative Connections to the Community"

The SAC Connect is co-founded by Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Chenee Robinson, LCSW and Licensed Clinical Social Worker Shanece Okoro Duncan, LCSW. The “Connect” is a known word in today’s popular culture simply meaning a person in which you obtain a product. The SAC Connect established a network of resources for underrepresented transitional age youth and young adults to gain access to resources within the community, access to mental health services specialized in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Trauma, and goal planning/transitional living skills education. The SAC Connect believes tailoring programs for transitional age youth 16-24 continue to be important as mental health for transition-age youth require an intense level of support, community networks, and perseverance for a successful transition into adulthood.
